All the food at Growing Minds Childcare is freshly prepared in our kitchen, and in the pre-school room children learn to prepare snacks and serve food independently. We have lots of experience with weaning babies on to solid foods and we are happy to promote baby led weaning. Below are examples of the sort of things you can expect your little one to be served at Growing Minds Montessori Childcare.

As well as the drinks served with meals, children have access to drinking water throughout the day.

Before your child’s placement starts you can record your child’s dietary requirements on the Child Registration Form and on the nursery app. We have lots of experience looking after children with specific dietary needs. So if your child is new to solids, a vegetarian or vegan, has an allergy or intolerance, or any other dietary requirement, this is not a problem – we will work together to provide an alternative menu for your child.
