If your child turns 9 months before 31st December 2024 you may be eligible for 9-23 month funding from January 2025. If your child has their second birthday before 31st December 2024 you may be eligible for 2-year funding from January 2025. If your child has their third birthday before 31st December 2024 you will be eligible for universal 3-4 year funding and you may be eligible for additional working parents funding (more commonly known as 30 hours) from January 2025. For more information about the recent changes please see HERE
To find out if you are eligible for working parents funding please see HERE. The government stipulate that children cannot claim funding immediately from when they turn 9 months, or their 2nd or 3rd birthday, but they can claim from the term after they turn 9 months or the term after their birthday. You must obtain or renew your code in the term before they are eligible for funding designed for working parents from the government website HERE
If you require funding when you return to work from maternity leave the date you start or return to work will affect when you can apply for free childcare. To be eligible from January 2025 you must be returning to work before 31st January 2025. There is more information and an explanation of all the admission dates in the year on the government website HERE
We offer stretched funding over 50 weeks if your booking is year round or term time over 38 weeks if your booking is term time only. The funding you receive will be split equally over the days booked each week and will be deducted from your invoice, leaving only the hours above your funding allocation to pay for. We do not charge a top up fee, consumables fee or any other type of supplement for funded childcare; it is completely free, and all food, drinks, nappies, wipes etc are still included!
